The inspiration is to experience the utopian case where language disappears completely. The idea is based on the fact that most people unfortunately understand the quality of things at the very moment when they lost them or when they are gone. So the most simple and direct situation of communication starts with two people, any one more creates a more complex condition. This is why I choose the characteristic condition for two people. There will be the ‘table’ which is more or less a sculpture to sit in and to communicate with its partner. To create a particular feeling in this interaction the two partners can see each other only through a big periscope. With the means of the periscope there will be artificial distance created between the two persons; this distance refers to the concept of the lost language. There will be also some ‘literature’ at the table where all the scripts are replaced by images, abstract patterns or simply color fields. This utopian “worst case” of losing the language functions as a platform where people should start thinking about the fact of disappearing scripts and intends to bring the audience to a point where they make up their own mind about that topic.
