Mo Sirra

Rehearse on rehearsal
From the beginning of his career Mo Sirra adopted a way of working that tended to reject conclusions in preference to investigation and experimentation process. He has, that is, put the idea of rehearsal at the core of his practice. The artist’s research has been deeply influenced by the specificity of the sites where he works: the architectures, society, culture and politics that constitute them. He performs a complex and diverse body of work that includes art-led intervention, installation art, drawing, sculpture, photography, video, performance as “a sort of discursive argument”.
