The world’s largest musical instrument shop complex Nakwon Music Mall is alike hometown in the heart of every musician, and it is the place dissolved amongst one’s memories. Individuals gathered by the music as a medium, and since music is the expanded concept of script- the variations of repertoires of life are played; this offers the imagination that would expand distinct denotation of script. The name of Ikseon-dong was derived from locations of lined-haengnang, where it was placed at the both transept of Nudonggung (樓洞宮), the shrine of Jeongye Daewongun (全溪大院君). Ikseon-dong was also called Iknanggol, and embraced people from different classes. For modern human beings, who are familiar with restructured roads- mainly for automobiles and vertically structured apartments, Ikseon-dong filled with low-roofed Hanok and road shaped as ㄱ,ㄷ,ㅁ of Hangeul is a place with ‘old novelty’. We walk among the roads, where the vanished substances are asleep with traces of memories. Following the works of artists who open and close the doors of haengnang, we walk towards the secret of script as memory unit has.

Script delivers strong messages in promised structures. Wandering among the alleys, symposia Haengnang, along with script and while accumulating information of time, will remind us the deficiencies. This will reveal the beauty of script that determines novelty and extends its life in labyrinth of memories- in Nakwon Music Mall and Ikseon-dong.
